Working with Cloud FM on a huge drive to reduce CO2 emissions for this highly ambitious corporation - we though outside the box and repositioned the lighting trunking above the vast mezzanine floors in order to reduce light count.
Using advance simulation and modelling of this huge multizone warehouse we were able to provide accurate predictions of both energy saving and lighting levels. With the advance features of the Digital Lumens Light Rules Server - after installing a variety of switches and Zigby Access points - the scheduling and tweaking of the lighting system to meet extremely high levels of staff welfare and safety was carried out in close consultation with members of staff from night pickers, shift managers, health and safety representatives and facilities/it management to achieve results beyond those expected at all levels.
