If you are sceptical about EVs, are worried about the real environmental cost of them, the mining for the batteries components, them catching fire - ending up in landfill, poor range and inadequate charging infrastructure and grid capacity. Then firstly - you are not alone and secondly there is quite a bit of mis-information floating about.
Luckily there are a few good honest, scientifically sound and truthfully written articles and websites that you can read and visit to help clear up any confusion about all of the questions you may have.
There is even a calculator where you can choose an EV model, where you live and which utility company and energy tariff you are on - and it works out how many miles you would need to drive before the carbon emissions used to manufacture the vehicle reach parity with a similar sized petrol or diesel car.
