Charging 'on street' in Cornwall

If you own or rent a property that has on street parking - it should not stop you from having a home charger.

A neat system has been developed that uses a channel across the pavement to put your charging lead into.

The system is approved by Cornwall County Council and their dedicated contractors - Cormac carry out the works.

The really great news - is that there is a £1200 grant which almost always covers the cost of the channel - all you pay is a £184 licence fee for the permission to have the channel installed.

Even better- once you have this done - OZEV offer a further £500 towards the cost of the charger and installation.

You need to use an OZEV authorised installer (like us at EV Electrical) - we would come along and carry out a survey and then advise you of the costs and whether we beleive you are eligable for the channel and the grants (ultimately Cornwall County Council have the final say on that- but they rarely overturn the OZEV installers recommendation).
