Above all of this - there are generous grant schemes from the Office for Zero Emmission Vehicles (OZEV).

Using an Authorised installer (like EV Electrical) you can take advantage of funding that can cover up to 75% of the cost of installing chargers and infrastructure and up to £15,000 per site that the company occupies.*

As an example - we recently installed 2 x 22kW chargers and enabled a further 5 parking spaces for a customer in Essex. Our cost to them was £4670+VAT - but we claimed a grant of £4200 towards the project - leaving them with just £470 to pay once the VAT was claimed back.

The remaining 5 bays can be upgraded to have live chargers in the future - and still receive a further grant of £350 each - which will more than cover the installation costs involved (because the cabling and switchgear has already been installed on site) - so they would only have to pay a contribution towards the EV Charging hardware.
